    Summary of Responsibilities:

    Balding Design Build is looking to hire a marketing and sales specialist that loves the world of architecture, interior design, and residential construction. This is a dynamic role incorporating internal and external marketing duties, as well as sales in the future. This position will assist the team with creating and promoting awareness of our company in our local community, as well as cultivating our brand internally for our team members.

    Some of your responsibilities will include implementing marketing strategies and creating promotional content – both digital and print, as well as representing our brand on initial communications as the first step of our project discovery process.

    The marketing and sales specialist will act as our brand ambassador and director of first impressions answering phone calls and greeting clients that stop by the office in person. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills with a team player mentality who are committed to living our core values and being a representative for our company in the community.

    Essential functions:

    • Manage lead Intake Program: Answer incoming calls, document, and pass details to salesperson
    • Manage and maintain all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Houzz, etc.)
    • Assist with team and/or client celebrations as well as management of sub-contractor appreciation program
    • Creation of print ads, editorial content, neighborhood dust letters, and radio scripts for local publications and radio
    • Development of public relations outreach plan and project pitches
    • Gather photos and creative content, provide ideas for social media posts and stories
    • Manage sales reports and tracking (including weekly/monthly/quarterly metrics)
    • Schedule meetings and attend networking events and tradeshows to continuously build our referral network
    • Management of CRM pipeline in BuilderTrend with status of current prospects entered and updated regularly

    Education, Experience, and Skills Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field.
    • 3 years (minimum) of related experience; interior design, architectural, or construction industry preferred.
    • A good eye for visualization, layout, and/or graphic design skills to facilitate appealing and effective communication.
    • Demonstrated ability to write and communicate in a clear and compelling manner, with a strong command of English grammar and editing, as well as attention to detail
    • Must be proficient in basic Microsoft and Google based programs; experience in graphic design is beneficial.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Ideal candidates will be creative, positive, and energetic.

    Compensation

    • $55,000 - $65,000 salary depending on experience
    • 3 weeks PTO
