Zeptive is an Internet of Things (IoT) sensing business focused on public health and safety, led by a team with over 50 years of experience developing & commercializing detection technologies based in Andover, MA. Our mission is to improve indoor air quality by monitoring environmental factors and reducing vaping by teens and young adults with better prevention and deterrence. The business is primarily focused on serving middle and high-schools schools, but also businesses, and hospitality. We sell direct and through a growing channel network to schools and commercial organizations globally.

**Marketing & Communications Specialist **

Zeptive is looking for a driven marketing professional to join our growing team based in Andover, MA. The candidate will be a self-motivated professional with a broad scope of social media, content and other marketing activities. In this position, you will be responsible for producing, updating, and maintaining marketing programs to meet our company’s marketing objectives. This is unique position that combines hand-on content marketing, with the opportunity to lead and coordinate the efforts of talented marketing specialists, agencies, and contractors.

Your duties will include developing and refining marketing programs that drive business including creating videos, posting on social media, email marketing, and content creation. In addition to having strong organizational and project management skills, you have a keen eye for detail and a firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices for social, digital and email marketing.

A core aspect of the role will be to master the company’s messaging and tone to amplify Zeptive’s key themes across all marketing channels. Zeptive uses a wide range of external resources, so a core aspect of the position will be to maintain editorial control across website developers, video production, email marketers, SEO marketing, search engine marketing, social media marketing, newsletters, press releases, product announcements, trade show collateral, brochures, training, and other content from external artists and editors. You will also have unlimited opportunity to produce content across all of these channels.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Be a key player in developing and implementing the company’s brand strategy
• Drive content marketing using social media platforms, video publishing, and a wide range of content.
• Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels with a consistent voice
• Drive consistent brand messaging and tone across all media channels in the organization
• Act as the primary Zeptive contact across a wide range of external content producers including social media, email, video, website, printed and trade-show blog writers, editors, and artists.
• Work with the company’s external marketing firms to analyze website traffic and user interaction data across all to boost engagement across platforms
• Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for program success
• Provide recommendations of marketing strategies to leadership

Requirements/Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of marketing experience including strategy, content, search engine marketing, email marketing and social media marketing
• Outstanding writing skills that combine a strong active voice and a flexible style.
• Desire to work in a rapidly evolving startup environment, where creating and implementing new ideas to support growth is a continuous daily activity
• Science, Health, and Technology experience is required.
• Proficiency in one or more photo and video editing packages desired.
• High level of emotional intelligence
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
• Self-driven and proactive
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects
• Significant experience with Google Analytics, Google Search console, Google Ads creation, and SEO techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs applications
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a relevant field
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar marketing role
• Knowledge of content marketing techniques and best practices
• Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines
• Demonstrated successful experience coordinating external content production
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in a startup environment a plus
