    Job Description

    We are seeking a cleared cybersecurity professional to support the development of a Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) roadmap within a classified environment. This role will focus on strategizing the implementation of ServiceNow ZTA principles, designing the overall solution, and identifying key assessment activities—not hands-on implementation. Note: Direct experience with ServiceNow's ZTA is not required. We are open to training the right candidate who has a strong cybersecurity background and interest in emerging enterprise technologies.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Assess current security infrastructure and identify ZTA opportunities
    • Define desired outcomes and develop an actionable ZTA roadmap
    • Architect a high-level solution aligned with ServiceNow ZTA capabilities
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders and brief recommendations
    • Ensure the integration of new security technologies with existing systems
    • Monitor industry trends and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Zero Trust security measures
    • Advise on best practices and organizational changes necessary to embed ZTA principles
    • Work in collaboration with IT teams to implement designed architecture
    • Document all stages of the ZTA roadmap and associated deployments
    • Provide training and guidance to internal teams regarding new security measures
    • Lead projects from conception to execution, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
    • Manage timelines, resources, and project milestones
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented architectures and make adjustments as necessary

    Required Qualifications

    • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) — non-negotiable. Candidates without this clearance will not be considered.

    • Experience applying Zero Trust Architecture principles

    • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-207)

    • Strong skills in planning, documentation, and stakeholder engagement

    _ Preferred Qualifications_

    • Familiarity with ServiceNow or other enterprise platforms
    • Experience developing technical roadmaps or system architecture
    • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist – Security Incident Response) are a plus, but not required
