Job Description

One of the leading pharmaceutical companies is looking for a HR professional to join their team.  This HR team is responsible for supporting the approx. 4,000 Pharma employees located in the US. This specific team supports Medical Affairs, Pharmacovigilance and R&D employees.

Position Summary - Provide HR support to Regulatory Affairs, Research & Early Development, Clinical Development Operations and US Pharmacovigilance and Medical Affairs on all aspects of HR to include among others HR policy, recruiting, compensation, and talent management.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Provide strategic leadership and coordination for all HR activities

·         Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the business to translate business requirements and challenges into relevant HR actions and initiatives

·         Develop and monitor workforce plans for client groups

·         Execute Talent Management initiatives in line with U.S. and Global TM strategy to attract, identify, assess, develop and retain employees to ensure a strong talent pipeline

·         Consult in close collaboration with Legal on ensuring compliance with employment law and company  policies

SKILLS & COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

·         5-7 years of experience in Human Resources with multiple HR functions experience preferred

·         Solid understanding of HR policies and practices

·         Demonstrated ability to drive organizational effectiveness and change management

·         Strong business acumen

·         Strong drive for results and action oriented

·         Ability to make quality and autonomous decisions

·         Expertise in organizational development, organizational structure and change management

·         Ability to handle multiple tasks in short time frames

·         Knowledge and experience in State and Federal Labor Law, Compliance

·         Strong interpersonal skills, listening skills

·         Knowledge of Pharma R&D industry a plus

·         Bachelors Degree
