    REGIONAL CLINICAL REIMBURSEMENT SPECIALIST – RN

    Scope of the Job:

    This position reports to the State Director of Clinical Reimbursement and will be based in Tennessee.The Clinical Reimbursement Specialist will be responsible for assisting with systems development and implementation of programs that apply to the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI), Prospective Payment Systems (PPS), Quality Measures (QM’s), Medicaid Case-mix and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines for all stakeholders.

     

    Candidate Requirements:

    We seek a nurse executive with a minimum of five (5) years of experience as an MDS Coordinator in the long-term care industry, and two (2) years of regional, multi-site MDS experience.We seek a registered nurse with an active license in the state employed (Tennessee).

     

    Knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements.Extensive experience with PDPM Clinical Reimbursement, Quality Measures, and Tennessee Case-Mix.

     

    Ability to travel - Routine travel to multiple sites, including occasional overnight stays.Territory: 9-facilities within a 180-mile radius around Nashville, Tennessee.

     

    Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Internet and Intranet navigation.

     

    Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and make independent decisions.Ability to deal with new tasks without the benefit of written procedures.

     

    Approachable, flexible and adaptable to change.
