Essential Job Functions

• Design web pages, brochures, logos, signs, books, magazine covers, annual reports, advertisements, and other communication materials.
• Refine designs using illustration software, various color/effects, and apply isometric techniques to enhance perspective.
• Create materials by hand or by using technology, including computer software programs to produce desired collateral.
• Meet with team members to gain/ensure understanding for the outcome of proposed communications and designs – understand artistic preferences
• Balance Artistry with Audience Appeal to visually represent ideas
• Establish rapport with team – interpret artwork for general public
• Create or incorporate illustrations, pictures, and designs to reflect the desired theme and tone of the communications.
• Work effectively across the organization with various departments – especially sales, marketing, customer interfacing areas
• Develop legible, well-designed type – all facets of typography
• Select type size and style to enhance the readability of text and image.
• Produce drafts for review team and make revisions based on the feedback received.
• Review final productions for errors and ensure that final prints reflect client specifications.
• All other duties as assigned

• Proficient to advanced computer knowledge – technical savvy in multiple areas
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite – including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign

• Produce clean, crisp, appealing designs
• Solid photography abilities
• Savvy & Sound artistic skills - excellent at drawing, sketching, and/or painting with a vision

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Degree, BA or Associates preferred in a design/creative field, or related - commensurate experience
• 3+ years working within a creative environment
• Experience with website development and web design concepts preferred
