Essential Job Functions
- Design web pages, brochures, logos, signs, books, magazine covers, annual reports, advertisements, and other communication materials.
- Refine designs using illustration software, various color/effects, and apply isometric techniques to enhance perspective.
- Create materials by hand or by using technology, including computer software programs to produce desired collateral.
- Meet with team members to gain/ensure understanding for the outcome of proposed communications and designs – understand artistic preferences
- Balance Artistry with Audience Appeal to visually represent ideas
- Establish rapport with team – interpret artwork for general public
- Create or incorporate illustrations, pictures, and designs to reflect the desired theme and tone of the communications.
- Work effectively across the organization with various departments – especially sales, marketing, customer interfacing areas
- Develop legible, well-designed type – all facets of typography
- Select type size and style to enhance the readability of text and image.
- Produce drafts for review team and make revisions based on the feedback received.
- Review final productions for errors and ensure that final prints reflect client specifications.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficient to advanced computer knowledge – technical savvy in multiple areas
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite – including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign

- Produce clean, crisp, appealing designs
- Solid photography abilities

Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Degree, BA or Associates preferred in a design/creative field, or related - commensurate experience
- 3+ years working within a creative environment
- Experience with website development and web design concepts preferred
- Suggested experience with the follow programs/software tools:
