JOB DESCRIPTION
Zollege is looking to hire a Recruitment Specialist to further connect with Austin companies. The primary responsibilities are listed below:
Build a list of employer partners to hire graduates.
Build an Advisory Board of Austin companies who meet quarterly for curriculum review.
Reach out to local companies to identify the best-suited person for the Advisory Board.
Maintain relationships and communication with board members.
Coach students on job-finding strategies.
Advise students and grads on career-related topics such as internships and job opportunities, recruiting trends, using job search tools, interview preparation, offer evaluation, salary negotiation, etc.
Connect students with companies that are hiring.
Work with employers to coordinate events for students and grads to create full-time and internship opportunities.
Keep an updated list of which grads are job searching, what their skills and qualifications are, and once they are placed, what company and job title they have.
Keep an updated list of the employers that are looking and what the positions’ requirements are.
Identify the needs of companies, determine how our curriculum may solve them, and suggest customized solutions if necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
2+ years with a diverse background of experience in partnerships, talent representation, and/or hiring
Sales and leadership experience
Excited to work in a startup environment
Familiarity with G-Suite
Detail-oriented and organized
Desire to join a culture of passionate creatives focused on helping people change careers
Willingness to work in the evenings. Our classes are from 6:30 - 9:00 pm.
40 hours/week availability
