Job Description

Performs production work assigned by the Lead person such as final assembly, testing, and crating.  Perform quality checks as needed & properly record results if necessary. Alert Lead person of any quality problems, part shortages, machine breakdowns, or any other situations.

• Utilizes all available hand and pneumatic tools and appropriate machinery  
• Occasional climbing of rolling ladders to retrieve materials
• Able to work safely in an environment with continuous forklift traffic
• Communicates equipment status to operations personnel before, during, and after the job.

Qualifications

• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to forklift traffic
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. (Safety protection will be provided)
• The employee may spend 100% of their work hours on the plant floor
• Must be able to troubleshoot equipment/process problems and propose solutions. Problem solving skills are essential to this position.
• High school diploma preferred but not required.
