    Job Description

    The Finance Manager FP&A will report into the Director of FP&A & Controllership and is responsible for publishing critical financial reporting across the global Zurn businesses, including the US, Canada, India CoE, and the Middle East.  This role will help lead our annual Strategic plan and Budget process and analyze financial performance to identify areas of risk and/or opportunity.  The Finance Manager FP&A plays an important role in developing ad-hoc reporting needed to drive business decisions and achieve budgeted financial commitments.  This role provides the foundation needed to grow within other areas of the Zurn Finance Team.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Drives reporting enhancements to accurately present to Senior Management Zurn financial performance and areas of opportunity and/or risk.
    • Leads and assists in the completion of Annual Zurn Budgeting and Strat Plan cycles.
    • Drives completion of monthly close and forecasting cycles, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
    • Drives improvements in managing Zurn Group cash.  Owns cash forecast process and works to ensure Zurn meets quarterly and annual cash flow commitments. 
    • Leverages best practices across Zurn business units to implement and sustain closing processes that are standardized and efficient. 
    • Partners with other Finance Leaders to ensure EBITDA and P&L initiative walks are completed accurately and timely. Consolidates commentary within financial walks for presentation to Senior Management.
    • “Go to” for OneStream (Zurn Financial Consolidation Tool) questions and requests.  Assists with the development of OneStream templates as required by our Commercial Finance and BU Finance teams.
    • Identifies #CI opportunities leveraging OneStream.
    • Manages a team of at least one direct report.  Mentors team and provides opportunities for career growth through coaching and day-to-day guidance.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 6-10 years’ experience in financial functions with a track record of progression.
    • Minimum 2 years of management experience.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting/finance/business or related field, CPA designation preferred
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and particularly strong Excel skills involving pivot tables, dynamic formulas.
    • Previous experience with ERP systems and consolidations systems, OneStream software is a plus.
    • Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills.
    • Willingness to work extended hours as job dictates – e.g. month-end, strategic plan & budget
    • Strong problem solving, analytical skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Able to work well on a cross functional team, operate in a cooperative work environment, and drives continuous improvement.
    • Detail oriented perspective and drives accountability.
    • Well organized and self-directed individual.
    • Excellent understanding of financial reports and analysis
    • Highly motivated with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
