WHAT THE A/R SPECIALIST DOES:

• Develops a plan to complete your assigned duties each week
• Reviews accounts to determine appropriate follow-up action
• Check system for missing payments
• Notates patient accounts properly
• Answers telephone and routes client calls
• Responds to inquiries
• Complies with all applicable laws regarding billing standards
• Other duties as assigned

WHAT EXPERIENCE WE REQUIRE:

• One year of data entry experience
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in basic use of a computer, telephone, internet, copier, fax, and scanner
• Touch-typing skills, 40 wpm required
• Basic touch 10 key skills
• Basic knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel

WHAT EXPERIENCE WE PREFER:

• One year in medical billing is strongly preferred
• Experience working with Anesthesia billing is preferred
• Experience in MedSuite software preferred
