About the Role:

KIDZCAVE LLC in Houston, TX is looking for a passionate and energetic Afterschool Care Worker to join our team! Responsibilities:

Supervise and ensure the safety of children during afterschool care hours

Plan and lead engaging recreational activities, games, and creative projects

Assist students with homework and provide academic support as needed

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for children

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians during pick-up

Monitor and manage child behavior using positive reinforcement techniques

Follow all childcare safety protocols and emergency procedures

Requirements:

Previous experience in childcare, afterschool programs, or youth supervision preferred

Must be patient, energetic, and genuinely passionate about working with children

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage groups of children in a structured and positive manner

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Must pass a background check

High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in education or child development a plus
