About the Role:

Join Kindergarten Round-Up Childcare LLC as we cultivate young minds through our innovative agriculture-themed programs! This unique position allows you to inspire children in Detroit, MI, by integrating hands-on learning about nature and sustainability into their daily activities.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement engaging agriculture-focused lesson plans for children.

Facilitate outdoor activities that promote exploration and appreciation of nature.

Supervise and mentor children during hands-on gardening and farming projects.

Collaborate with parents to discuss children's progress and interests in agriculture.

Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for all children in your care.

Integrate nutrition education into daily activities to promote healthy eating habits.

Participate in community outreach programs to enhance the local agricultural awareness.

Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and agriculture integration.

Requirements:

Passion for early childhood education and a love for agriculture.

Experience working with young children in an educational setting.

Strong communication skills and ability to engage children effectively.

Knowledge of gardening, farming, or sustainability practices is a plus.

CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Creative mindset with a knack for developing fun and educational activities.

Background check clearance required for working with children.
