    Responsible for supporting the sales/new business paperwork process to include assistance and analysis in running carrier proposal models, handling pre-application and application paperwork process as well as policy check and delivery for prospective clients who purchase life insurance, disability, and long term care insurance. 

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Interacts with clients to respond to inquiries concerning service accounts;
    • Assists with set up of new business transactions in Sales Force and New Business Shared Drive Files;
    • Responsible for the preparation, organization and distribution of application paperwork to prospective clients for life, disability and long term care insurance transactions;
    • Tracks application paperwork to and from prospective clients and works with producers to ensure all information is obtained for submission to the insurance carrier or general agency for processing;
    • Responsible for running carrier models to reflect insurance offer and carrier pricing;
    • Reviews policies for accuracy and works with producer on how policy should be distributed to client;
    • Maintains accurate and current database of fillable carrier applications which complies with agency management system/data integrity standards (enters and maintains complete and accurate information)
    • Other various administrative duties as assigned relating to existing clients and/or existing policy review and analysis.

    QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience  2+ years related work experience in life insurance/new business preferred 3-4 years of general administrative office experience Valid insurance license or must be obtained within 120 days Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal
