SUMMARY Responsible for performing a combination of security design and implementation work, as well as security testing and implementation of new products or enhancements to current products. This position is responsible for the support of the production environment which ensures the appropriate security policies and practices are implemented and enforced. In addition, this position will be a technical resource for the overall organization in all technical matters regarding our security products and services. Close collaboration with all Systems Engineering disciplines is essential to comprehensive solutions being presented and implemented to the business. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIE • Designs, configures, implements and maintains all security platforms and their associated software, such as routers, switches, firewalls, intrusion detection/intrusion prevention, anti-virus, cryptography systems, SIEM, Anti-SPAM, and MDM; • Designs, reviews and provides ongoing assessment of firewall, intrusion detection/intrusion prevention, SIEM, VPN, SSL, application control, Antivirus, and other network component policies; • Daily triage, and update/resolution of tickets generated by CRM ticketing system and respond to inbound phone and electronic requests for technical assistance; • Ensures network security best practices are implemented through auditing: router, switch, firewall configurations, change control, and monitoring; • Provides periodic vulnerability testing, and leads remediation projects; • Formulates systems and methodologies as well as responds to security related events and assists in remediation efforts; • Coordinates and monitors log analysis for our managed services offerings, to ensure customer policy and security requirements are met; • Follows project management methodology and demonstrates best-practices in network documentation as required; • Manages all client situations in a professional and courteous business manner with an emphasis on customer satisfaction, while timely keeping the customer abreast of expectations, problem status and completion. • Serves as a liaison between sales, product management, engineering and other departments on security related items; • Other duties as assigned.  QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in computer technology or equivalent combination of education and experience 7-10 years related work experience in systems security Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems, applications and related products Proven experience with systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices Experience in LAN and WAN technologies, network design, network management, etc. desired Experience with Cloud (Azure, AWS) based security practices and principles a huge plus SKILLS Good verbal and written communication skills Excellent customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills Ability to work within a fast paced team and foster teamwork Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to resolve multiple complex and critical issues Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to rapidly changing priorities Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, access control lists, firewalls, WPN, NAT, QoS, and network traffic analysis We are proud to provide comprehensive, high quality employee programs to meet employees’ needs now and in the future, including a very competitive financial package.
