WORK IN THE EXCITING FIELD OF RADIOLOGY!

AS A RADIOLOGY IMAGING SERVICES COORDINATOR YOU WILL WORK CLOSELY WITH RADIOLOGISTS TO FACILITATE WORKFLOW AND DAILY NEEDS IN ADDITION TO SUPPORTING THEIR INTERACTIONS WITH REFERRING PROVIDERS AND CUSTOMERS.

AMIC is seeking a highly motivated full-time candidate to work closely with our large group of subspecialty-trained radiologists and provide exceptional patient care, service to clients, and support to our providers.

We have a couple of shift options available:

• Full Time: Monday - Friday 9-5:30pm.
• Full Time: Employee would work a base set of hours/days but may require variable hours and dates from time to time.
• Or you tell us what hours you can work!
• Positions start at $17.00/hour with a $2 shift differential for evening, weekend, or overnight hours!

POSITION SUMMARY

· Coordinate all radiology image and report management functions including but not limited to digital data (RIS/PACS) in a dynamic fast paced multi-hospital environment

· Serve as professional liaison to radiologists and their clients

· Contact referring providers and connect them to radiologists as needed

· Serve as telephone triage & liaison for inbound/outbound calls and transfer to appropriate service/individuals

· Perform quality control of exams ensuring they are ready for radiologist interpretation

· Monitor worklists and filters to ensure appropriateness and timeliness of reads

· Facilitate addendums to reports and ensure reports are corrected

· Maintain a continual high level of customer service both internally and externally

· Perform other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Healthcare and customer service experience preferred

· Excellent oral and written communication skills; advanced problem-solving skills

· Professional phone skills and experience

· General computer skills and knowledgeable in basic computer terminology

· Medical terminology preferred

· Ability to multitask and troubleshoot

· Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

· Ability to sit 6-8 hours per day entering data on PC

· In office presence required. Not a remote position
