    YOUR ROLE

    As the Manager, Finance & Administration, you compile, review and report financial information. You help to ensure that aptihealth makes sound financial decisions. Whether you are recording corporate transactions appropriately, modeling business scenarios or confirming adherence to corporate contract terms, you will empower our leadership team with information to make smart strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Perform day to day general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, billing, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations & general ledger
    • Maintain proper supporting documentation for all transactions
    • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
    • Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
    • Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
    • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
    • Provide support in improving, automating and documenting processes for financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting
    • Assist with annual budget and forecast
    • Perform cash flow analysis
    • Maintain customer contracts and associated billing. Liaise with current healthcare billing partner to reconcile billing and claims data
    • Maintain vendor/partner contracts
    • Coordinate with company insurance broker to ensure proper commercial business coverage
    • Provide input and direction on ways to optimize programs and help troubleshoot and solve issues; as well as ensure the ongoing success of programs
    • Responsible for miscellaneous finance projects as needed

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred

    • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience experience in start-up environment preferred

    • Thorough knowledge of GAAP

    • Experience with financial systems; QuickBooks experience is preferred

    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization

    • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

    • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and Outlook, and Internet search tools: including advanced Excel skills

    • Excellent attention to detail
