    We are currently seeking an experienced Instructional Designer.

    As part of the Learning and Development team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Learning & Development, the Instructional Designer will be expected to utilize strong skills and experience to design and create learning and performance-based training materials and assessments that emphasize adult learning concepts, active learning practices, and objectives-based instructional strategies. This professional will bring to our team strong expertise and experience in distance learning technologies and eLearning design.

    Role Responsibilities

    • Assess, plan, and design technical, professional development and firm-specific technology courseware for firm employees, using ADDIE, RID or similar methodology
    • Develop training solutions that are directly aligned with our department and firm’s strategic objectives with a primary emphasis on eLearning.
    • Develop storyboards and scripts with text, voice, audio, graphics, and animation/video.
    • Write materials for new and existing training programs; review, evaluate, and modify existing and proposed programs; recommend appropriate changes.
    • Collaborate and consult with learners, subject matter experts, and cross-functional team members to build appropriate course materials to support courses and specific learning objectives.
    • Prepare and disseminate education aids such as instructional materials, handouts, participant’s guides, and visual aids.
    • Complete assigned tasks related to various learning solutions which may vary depending on role in shared projects.
    • Design, conduct, and evaluate post instruction outcomes using various levels of current learning evaluation methods (beyond Kirkpatrick’s L1).
    • Recommend learning metrics to assess the effectiveness and business impact of the venue chosen.
    • Support L&D team in maintaining our Learning Management System (LMS), as needed.
    • Support assigned duties associated with various learning programs and related educational experiences.
    • Maintain knowledge base and ensure that online resources are up-to-date.
    • Additional assignments as requested.

    Education

    • BA in Instructional Design, Training, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education, Communication, or relevant field. Master's preferred.

    Experience

    • Demonstrate 3 to 5 years of experience in planning and designing interactive learning activities, including instructional design, course development, and project management.
    • Possess a required minimum of 3 years of experience in SCORM compliant eLearning solutions including development, design, graphic design, 2D/3D animation, audio/visual production and using the e-learning applications such as Captivate, Storyline, GotoWebinar, Vyond, Brainshark and other elearning design tools.
    • Have at least 2 years of required experience in project management, particularly in the creation of eLearning content using a range of software and rapid development tools.
    • Be proficient in Adobe e-Learning Suite and its capabilities, including HTML5 and responsive course design and development.
    • Show advanced knowledge and detailed understanding of training theories, methodologies, and techniques, specially related to the use of technology in adult education.
    • Be able to collaborate with others, multi-task, and adjust to changing landscape.
    • Be able to deliver to specific deadlines.
    • Have excellent organizational and client consulting skills.
    • Be highly computer literate and software savvy.
    • Have working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMSs).
    • Show exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including instructional, facilitation, and presentation skills.
    • Be organized, able to act independently, have an eye for detail and can put ideas into a tangible form with minimal supervision.
    • Be proficient in Learning & Development industry trends, using market analysis to gain additional insight as to “innovation” within our learning strategies.
    • Be able to produce recent work samples upon request.
    • Show experience in a Professional Services environment (a plus).
