About the Role:
Autobyzack INC is looking for a detail-oriented Automotive Title Clerk to join our team in Houston, TX! Responsibilities:
Process and submit vehicle titles, registrations, and lien releases accurately and on time
Coordinate with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to ensure compliance with state titling requirements
Maintain and organize title files, deal jackets, and related documentation
Communicate with lenders, finance companies, and customers regarding title status and outstanding issues
Audit title documents for accuracy and completeness prior to submission
Track and follow up on missing or delayed titles to minimize aged title inventory
Support the finance and accounting departments with title-related record keeping
Requirements:
Previous experience as an automotive title clerk or in a dealership title/DMV role preferred
Strong knowledge of Texas DMV titling and registration processes
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
Proficiency with dealership management software (DMS) is a plus
Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills for working with lenders, customers, and internal teams
High school diploma or equivalent required
