The Finance Director is responsible for overseeing and managing CARFAX’s reporting and budgeting process, while aligning business needs and optimizing profitability. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PROVEN LEADER AND STRONG COMMUNICATOR to focus on process improvements and cost efficiencies, and who can thrive in a team-oriented environment.

AS THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE, YOU WILL:

• Assist in developing finance and business presentations; related supporting documentation.
• Help drive key insights and analytics.
• Work with business operations and other key stakeholders to generate requested reporting output.
• Oversee and manage continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and modeling tools.
• Assist business leaders in developing financial strategies and organizational goals.
• Work with the business on cost projections and planning of future expenses. 
• Execute continuous process improvement.
• Oversee company Fraud Risk Program and process for fraud prevention, detection, and investigation.
• Establish and monitor metrics for finance team.
• Improve effectiveness and efficiency of the team.
• Train and develop staff.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Demonstrated success in financial modeling
• Strong business partnering and interpersonal skills
• Superior analytical skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• 5+ years in corporate accounting or finance role
• Ability to present to key decision makers while also providing guidance towards business deliverables
• Advanced experience in implementing process improvements
• Supervisory experience
• High energy, high ownerships of work product and dedication and commitment to driving results
• Ability to lead and motivate in a team-oriented environment
