    SUMMARY The barre3 Front Desk Associate is an integral part of the barre3 studio experience. They are responsible for ensuring strong client relationships while maintaining an organized, clean and welcoming studio atmosphere. Their goal is to host clients, speak to the barre3 brand, assist in marketing campaigns and sell class packages and retail. They have a passion for fitness while embracing whole-body health and community connection as equally important pillars of barre3. They are warm, compassionate and value diversity and MUST be confident and comfortable picking up the phone, calling leads and following a script. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES other duties as assigned Relationship building: Build strong relationships with barre3 clients, create a warm and supportive studio environment Execute strong communication skills and a professional presence to staff and clients Sales: Must be able to meet expectations DAILY responding to leads and referrals. Engage in sales conversations, guiding clients to the package that best fits their needs Inform clients and staff on all studio events and challenges Retain clients with methods shared by managers/owners Organization: Have a thorough understanding of MINDBODY Online Maintain a clean and sanitary studio atmosphere at all times Attend mandatory staff meeting: Including, but not limited to: quarterly meetings and specific campaign meetings/trainings JOB DUTIES Work a minimum of 15 hours per week Available to substitute shifts including front desk shifts Sales and Hospitality background preferred Have a strong love of learning Strong communications skills Act as a team player Able to engage with clients about all items that barre3 has to offer Passionate about the barre3 brand QUALIFICATIONS Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to the safety or health of employees or others. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Two years of education from a college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. COMPUTER SKILLS Has advanced basic computer job skills including logging on to systems, ability to communicate by email, ability to compose documents, enter database information, create presentations, download forms, and preserve/backup important data. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram and schedule form. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AED & CPR certification is required. Will assist in getting certified as needed. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; outdoor weather conditions and risk of electrical shock.
