Job Description

The Sr. Business Analyst on our Professional Services (Software Implementation Team) will identify problems, capture requirements and define solutions that solve the unique business needs of our customers while implementing basys' highly configurable software suite. While working within our enterprise software, this individual's existing subject matter knowledge of pension/retirement benefits will be particularly leveraged as they specialize in the PensionBenefits areas of the basys software. 

This full-time, W2 employment position can be remote or (after the pandemic) based out of our Baltimore, MD headquarters. Due to COVID-19, all interviews and initial onboarding procedures will take place virtually. Qualified candidates must be based in the US and meet US work authorization requirements (sponsorship is not available).

PENSION/SR. BUSINESS ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Directly interact with and positively influence parties involved in requirements gathering sessions and solution review meetings, with the ability to converse with direct end users, executive sponsors and IT resources
• Work with customers directly on the implementation, configuration, testing, trouble shooting and training of the basys software suite, particularly in the areas of defined benefits, defined contributions, members accounts, pensioner and vacation benefits. 
• Translate business needs into user-focused solutions and design documents with clearly defined and detailed requirements
• Utilize multiple tools and resources to resolve customer application questions or issues in the areas of database, system configurations/setup, product functionality and business enhancements
• Develop a comprehensive knowledge of basys solutions/capabilities and complete inclusive training programs to develop a subject matter expertise in the area of pension benefits

PENSION/SR. BUSINESS ANALYST REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong knowledge of pension (or retirement) benefit administration is a must 
• 4+ years' Software BA experience is also required
• Willingness to travel approx. 5-15% to customer sites throughout the US (after pandemic)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future for employment visa status
