- Up to 55K salary (commensurate with experience)

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for:
- Planning, executing, and administering talent acquisition initiatives, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring for hourly store positions and other positions as assigned.
- Managing the onboarding process for employees
- Managing workers’ compensation, general liability, and unemployment administration processes
- Taking part in the company's safety committee
- Conducting compliance initiatives such as RAMP, Food safety certification, Required postings, and required training.
- Processing payroll for assigned stores/areas of responsibility
Scope pertaining to supporting the Human Resources function:
- Assisting employees and managers with payroll, policy, and benefit concerns and questions
- Responding to employment verifications
- Conducting background checks for applicable employees
- Maintaining HR filing and employment data in physical files and in the company’s HRIS system as appropriate
- Completing or assist in compliance/reporting for OSHA, EEO-1, Safety Renewal Certificate, SPD/SAR, 5500, 401(k) Non-Discrimination Testing, 1095/W2s
- Assisting in conducting employee investigations and in other employee relations issues
- Support with other HR-related matters as appropriate
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience working with HRIS/HRMS systems
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in the restaurant/hospitality industry
- Experience with Ceridian Dayforce Payroll and HRIS System
