JOB SUMMARY

Work in shipping, receiving, stocking and delivery of parts and supplies.  Ensure the flow of materials throughout the production area. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Load and unload materials in the warehouses and storage facilities.
• Verify materials against invoices to ensure accuracy of the delivery.
• Count or weigh parts to check quantity and accuracy.
• Contact vendor when shipment is inaccurate to rectify discrepancy.
• Issue materials to different lines when needed.
• Coordinate the functionality between all production lines and throughout shipping and receiving.
• Oversee the quantity and need for all materials on the production floor.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Sound decision making.
• Ability to use basic computer systems.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel

 

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE

• 2-3 years of experience in relevant position.
