JOB SUMMARY

Perform diagnostic services and maintenance on CNC machines. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for machining quality in tolerance per print specification.
• Responsible for ensuring machine parts are in compliance every hour.
• Track and analyze production numbers.
• Understand the Data Collection process.
• Be responsible for overall cleanliness of area.
• Prepare finished parts for transfer to Warehouse.
• Maintain levels of Armature production.
• Make offset changes to keep part tolerances.
• Enforce safety compliance in machine shop area.
• Complete hourly inspection reports.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 Years of machine shop experience.
• 2 years’ experience operating CNC Swiss style turning centers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 

• Attention to detail and discipline for routine schedule is a must.
• Experience in material flow and continuous flow.
• Must have the ability to understand and use inspection tools, micrometer, calipers and visual equipment to verify parts.
• Strong understanding of tooling, speeds and feeds, materials and the application of them to the machining process.
