Job Summary

We are seeking a professional Freelance Public Relations Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will formulate our public relations approach and enhance the company’s voice and presence. You will address any public relations concerns, manage media requests, issue press releases, and pitching. The ideal candidate is personable, professional, and has previous experience in Beauty PR.

Responsibilities

Help develop public relations policies and strategies

Pitch to editors, influencers, etc.

Respond to requests from media

Write and submit press releases

Participate in client calls and meetings

Help plan and execute events

Respond to public relations crises in a proactive manner

Facilitate dispute resolution in a manner that is satisfactory to all parties

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or related field

Previous experience as a Public Relations Specialist in the beauty or health and wellness field

Experience with project management

Strong writing and editing skills

Vast experience in event planning

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer programs

Skilled in the use of social media platforms

Strong public speaking skills

This is a remote position.
