CHICAGO, IL (PARTIALLY REMOTE)
Our client is the largest wholesale distributor of roofing in the United States and one of the nation's largest distributors of siding, windows and other select exterior and interior building products, tools and related supplies. Currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for a Direct Hire opportunity.
AS A FULL STACK DEVELOPER YOU WILL…
- Design, develop, and implement solutions using C# .NET CORE and JavaScript Frameworks (Angular) as your tools, and Visual Studio as your development environment
- Champion test automation at all levels – unit, integration and UI level automation
- Care about quality and coach teams on what it means to ship high quality code
- Conceive and build unit testable solutions for our website applications
- Work in an agile fashion to develop, estimate, test, and maintain our websites, while collaborating with team members on product backlog grooming, sprint planning, execution, review, and retrospective
- Participate in technical design meetings with other developers and assist in defining the system architecture and choosing technologies
- Be an active contributor to back-end development best practices and code reviews
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with all associates and business contacts and promote a strong sense of teamwork
- Foster an innovative culture with an eye toward agility, scalability and reliability
YOUR SKILLS INCLUDE…
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or comparable work experience
- 4+ years of proven experience with multiple programming languages, frameworks, cloud architecture:
- C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
- Angular or similar JavaScript framework
- Relational databases like SQL Server (NoSQL experience a plus)
- REST API’s, microservices architecture
- Excellent understanding of objected oriented principles
- Ability to write unit tests and modular testable code
- Deploying production services in a cloud environment; ideally Azure including:
- Azure Web Apps, Azure Functions
- Azure Monitoring / Alerts
- Azure DevOps, Terraform
- Demonstrated experience in identifying, debugging and resolving complex production issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, passion for problem solving, advocate for high quality design and performance
BONUS SKILLS
- Cloud experience with Azure (Web Apps, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, Terraform, Azure DevOps)
- C# .NET CORE, Visual Studio, Katalon Studio, Browserstack
- Flutter, React Native
