    Can you run large cross-team projects? Are you equally comfortable digging in to business requirements as drilling into architecture with development teams? We are looking for a Product Manager who will be able to work with multiple internal and external partner teams to define and drive projects that span the entire project life cycle. The successful candidate must have exceptional customer focus, problem solving skills, strong business judgment, technical acumen, and demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams.  

     The ideal candidate is a creative, demonstrated leader/manager with superior analytical abilities. This opportunity requires excellent technical, problem-solving, and communication skills. The candidate is not just a policy maker/spokesperson but drives to get the right things done. At the core of the position is delivery.

     RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Scoping and delivering large projects end-to-end across multiple Engineering and Business teams
    • Ownership of a product planning and delivery; driving and communicating project schedules from design to release, and managing the production launch
    • Lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts between internal teams and outside merchants and vendors to develop optimal solutions
    • Making appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market, clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams
    • After technically following complexity of features and bugs, provide recommendations to priority of issues keeping customers in focus
    • Groom and prioritize backlog constantly, partnering closely with engineering teams and attending stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives
    • Make trade-off decisions and communicate any impacts to the business, strategy, timeline, etc.  
    • Communicate a success definition or KPI(s) that is in line with the overarching product strategy 
    • Partner closely with the business partners to anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects, a well-rounded technical background in current web technologies and an ability to lead high performing, cross-functional teams

    • Strong understanding of Agile development methodology and principles

    • A solid understanding and demonstration of user centered design principles

    • Ability to work in an independent fashion, solve problems, make decisions, and communicate effectively in difficult situations.

    • Ability to collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team; communicate and influence throughout organizations

    • Must be organized, able to act independently, and able to switch rapidly between different projects in a fast-paced environment 

    • You must be able to thrive and succeed in a fast-paced environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities

    • Clear, concise and persuasive communication style that compels to action

    • Strong influencing skills and ability to interact with senior management

    • Team leadership and ability to inspire and motivate

    • Positive team player who seeks the collective success of the team

    • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in product management
