Who are we looking for?

We're seeking driven, curious, and passionate students in the Boston area who are ready to dive headfirst into the start-up world. Our ideal interns are strategic thinkers, organized problem solvers, and flexible team players. You should be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and be able to commit at least 12 weeks to learning and working with us full-time.

What will an internship at botkeeper look like?

You will collaborate with botkeeper team members to directly impact the company and its clients. Your supervisor will serve as a mentor, giving you real-world projects to challenge and inspire you while showing you the ropes of daily life at a growing company. You'll sharpen your skills while making new contacts and contributing to the inner workings of your specified department.

What responsibilities will this position hold?

• Perform ad hoc analysis of financial data to support business decisions and evaluation of new opportunities or changing business operations
• Prepare budgets and forecasts
• Perform revenue, expense, and other financial modeling based on bench-marking, industry, and client trend impacts on business drivers
• Analysis of monthly actual performance to understand why performance exceeded or fell short of targets while analyzing trends and identifying risks and opportunities

What are the requirements for this position?

• MS Excel & Powerpoint experience
• Strong knowledge of financial concepts
• Analytical nature with a track record of delivering results
• Ability to see big picture while also showing strong attention to detail
• Fast learner; early adopter; embracing of change
• Startup experience preferred
• Self-starter with good time management skills
