    A successful candidate in this position will bring intimate knowledge of the workings of accounting software systems or financial applications along with a clear understanding of the principles of accounting. Additionally, this candidate will have experience implementing, optimizing, and consulting clients in software, architecture, and best practices.     Job Responsibilities:

    • Lead technical application discussions and architect solutions leveraging botkeeper products with direct clients & strategic partners
    • Align pre-sales activities such as demonstrations, workshops, whiteboard and any proof phases identified within an approved sales process to facilitate customer success and build credibility with prospective and existing clients
    • Support direct and indirect sales team in selling efforts while fostering strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
    • Act as a function liaison between sales organization and product management teams on feature/function and architecture considerations
    • Work closely with the Sales team to help deliver business plans for clients and meet territory revenue goals with a clear understanding of goals to reach quarterly and yearly objectives
    • Prepare and execute implementation plans for agreed projects
    • Handle partner technical queries and escalations
    • Educate partners on all partner resources available

    Job Qualifications:

    • A passion for enabling entrepreneurial success by removing the stress and challenges of clean and accurate financial information through the use of emerging technologies and accounting best practices

    • 5+ years of experience in the accounting industry, working with a variety of accounting technologies

    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GL, AR, AP, budgeting and planning)

    • Experience and expertise with partner products such as Quickbooks, Xero, Gusto, Intuit, Wodify, Bill.com, PayPal, Shopify, and Paid

    • Ability to create and craft solutions in both existing software and custom architectures working together with company and client to achieve mutually defined goals

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with being a strong team player with a hunger for success

    • Ability to travel when necessary covering sales, marketing, and client activity up to 30%

    • Strong organizational and time management skills
