Job Description
cFocus Software seeks a SOFTWARE DEVELOPER for our 5 YEAR CONTRACT (FROM 2019-2024) with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA):
Required Qualifications include:
- 2+ years of experience with Software Development
- 2+ years of experience with JavaScript development
- Knowledge and understanding of Oracle PL/SQL scripting language
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust through an EPA background investigation
- Willing to learn Oracle Application Express (APEX)
Desired Qualifications include:
- EPA Public Trust & Experience
- Knowledge and understanding of ColdFusion development
- Knowledge and experience with Java J2EE
The Junior Software Developer has the following responsibilities:
- SUPPORTS THE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLE (SDLC) PROCESS including the development, documentation, testing, and bug fixing required for creating and maintaining frameworks.
- IMPLEMENT ORACLE APEX FEATURES AND SERVICES FOR applications with an Oracle database back end.
- PROVIDES SUPPORT OF WRITING AND MAINTAINING JAVASCRIPT SOURCE CODE, including research, new development, modification, reuse, re-engineering, maintenance, or any other activities that result in software products.
- PERFORM SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE AND ENHANCEMENTS OF EXISTING PAYMENT TRACKING APPLICATIONS.
- ASSISTS IN THE REVIEW OF REQUIREMENTS DOCUMENTATION for accuracy and practicality of implementation, design, and development the application, and provide support for correcting any errors identified through system testing.
- ASSISTS IN THE CREATION OF DETAILED DOCUMENTATION for existing and new EPA applications.
