    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports

    • Set and revise standard costs quarterly. Prepare ad hoc financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

    • Prepare month-end reconciliations and roll-forwards for Balance Sheet accounts

    • Assist in month-end closing, analyze inventory, inventory roll forward

    • Update standard costs, analyze cost accounting data and assist with cycle count/physical inventories

    • Investigate and research variances and unreconciled items, prepare journal entries

    • Analyze Fixed Asset accounts, ensure transactions are accurately categorized

    • Set up and maintain projects in Oracle ERP to track and report on project expenditures

    • Be a proactive participant in Oracle ERP expansion, engaging in performing timely training, UAT testing and bringing best practices to the implementation table

    • Be familiar with working in multiple currencies and accurately reflecting FX effects

    • Assist with annual audit, audit schedules, tax schedules, and others

    • Assist in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 implementation

    • Be a team member and pitch in to help with any task where needed

    • Be flexible

    • Ability to prioritize tasks

    • Ability to communicate and escalate problems along with proposed solution

    • Ensure financial information is kept confidential

    • Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies

    KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • 5+ years of experience in a similar role

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance

    • Public Accounting experience a plus

    • Ability to apply knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles & Cost Accounting Standards

    • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion or other ERP systems

    • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products

    • Must be able to adapt to new and different computer programs and software to enable efficient data gathering and analysis

    • Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data

    • Good written, verbal communication and collaborative skills

    • Ability to analyze and reconcile complex accounts and reserves

    • Strong organizational and communication skills

    • Automotive or manufacturing industry background preferred

    • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
