    THE ROLE – PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    This is a rare opportunity within the Product Launch team to define and build the interaction between Canoo and its community. You will play an integral role in defining what our brand stands for, building a following from the ground-up, developing our voice through interaction with the community, establishing our brand as relentlessly relevant, and cultivating unbridled, tribal brand love that is worth sharing.

    Below illustrates what you will do. That said, we are all building this brand and company together, so you will wear many hats and have the opportunity to provide valuable input into various marketing-related work streams.

    • Set the vision and lead implementation of an annual social media plan and strategies to guide the prioritization, development and execution of on-going, monthly, quarterly and annual social-driven initiatives to elevate & extend the brand, create new followers, drive positive sentiment, engagement and conversation, and expand the overall social audience

    • Establish clear social media goals across all platforms and consistently analyze and track to against KPIs and benchmarks

    • Expertly manage, monitor, create and execute all key social media messaging on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit & YouTube, as well as other emerging social media platforms

    • Collaborate closely with Design to develop relevant, engaging and thought-provoking social, experiential, and digital content

    • Work closely with the Marketing team, and across functions, to develop channel strategies, engagement strategies, and social guidelines and execution of social media management

    • Develop clear, compelling briefs for social campaigns

    • Lead and encourage a world-class social relationship team, focused on adjusting/shifting focus quickly as new cultural and social trends are emerging and technology changes, nurturing our core audience while expanding our reach

    • Ensure team management/processes are implemented and work efficiencies are in place

    • Oversee management of via social editorial calendar; determine the placement and cadence of engaging content, ensures the right volume and quality, provides content optimization recommendations based on performance and ensures strong brand voice on daily posts staying current on what's trending online and what people are talking about

    • Manages Influencer Relations (leveraging partnerships to develop cross-promotional opportunities), driving awareness, follower growth and intrigue/conversation among our target audience

    • Manage analytics, reporting and dashboards to maximize the social experience for all customers; leverage insight to identify opportunities for improvement and rationale for business decision making

    • Manage any external partners and ensure clarity around budget management

    • Partner with necessary resources to monitor and respond on our social channels, providing prompt, accurate responses to endanger confidence in our community, and build a brand based on customer-centricity

    • Lead cross functional alignment, delegate roles, amongst team, to provide engaging content with a strong brand voice for social media channels and synergy among all platforms

    • Keep pace with social media, internet marketing industry trends and developments

    • Attend webinars, read industry blogs and follow digital thought leaders in the space in order to develop a POV regarding new service offerings that adapt to a rapidly changing social and demographic landscape
