JOB PURPOSE

The PLM solution architect will be responsible for enterprise's PLM strategy.   

RESPONSIBILITIES AND GOALS

• Work with the enterprise architect and the business stakeholders to understand the requirements, and define the PLM processes and procedures.
• Build a PLM capabilities roadmap to support the program's milestones.
• Work with Dassault Systemes to share requirements, understand the product roadmap to evaluate opportunities to leverage new capabilities to optimize processes, and understand and publish new enhancements.
• Manage the deployment of new PLM processes, including configuration & customization, testing, documentation, and training.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Equivalent
• 5-10 years of BiW Design experience
• Experience with CATIA V5 to develop complex 3D surfacing and solid models. V6 Experience is preferred.
• Expert knowledge of BiW architecture and construction
• Understanding of vehicle crash, stiffness, and NVH

Preferred:

• Experience with multi-material construction (AHSS, UHSS, Aluminum, and Composites)
• Knowledge of joining technologies including Self-Piercing Rivets, Welding, Bonding
