Read on... JOB PURPOSE:

The In Charge of Vehicle Build and Launch Quality will work with all internal departments (engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality) and external stakeholders (parts vendors, assembly vendors, and contract manufacturer) to ensure a problem-free and on-time build according to the project schedule as well as the development and implementation of build-related quality processes and specifications. This person will manage the prototype builds at the build site, work on quality processes in between build phases at HQ and then transition to the site of the contract manufacturer for the pre-launch and ramp-up activities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Organize the prototype activities from preparation to build execution
• Align the internal and external activities to perform effectively
• Manage build progress according to plan
• Manage day-to-day circumstances & correct deviations
• Develop, adapt, and implement the relevant quality specifications, rules, processes, and KPI from prototype build to the ramp-up of volume production
• Be the Canoo face to the contract manufacturer in the vehicle launch phase, both for processes and vehicle quality

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience in vehicle quality and launch
• Extensive experience in problem solving, quality processes and inter-departmental project work
• 15+ years of relevant work experience in an automotive environment
