    JOB PURPOSE

    Design and develop state of the art Electronic Chassis Systems, and their interactions with Powertrain and ADAS, covering a variety of engineering tasks

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Define and manage system, software and controls requirements for Chassis systems, through the design and validation phases
    • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of software and relevant documentation, and managing open issues to closure
    • Maintain Design Verification Plans (DVPs), support development of test cases and coordinate execution of verification tests throughout program milestones (HIL, SIL, Vehicle testing)
    • Support the definition of Functional Safety deliverables according to ISO26262 and Failure Mode Analysis
    • Support vehicle activities including data logging, feature calibration, and testing including regulatory / homologation tests
    • Conduct issue investigation
    • Support the definition of Diagnostic DTC's, service routines, bootloader specifications
    • Maintain system architecture and interfaces with ADAS and Powertrain, ensuring integration of Chassis systems with other Vehicle controllers, and compatibility with Network design
    • Collaborate with the Vehicle Dynamics team to ensure vehicle performance targets are met
    • Provide technical inputs to the legal and homologation teams

    EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Electrical/Software/Controls Engineering or Equivalent
    • 4 or more years of Chassis Systems or Control Software Development
    • Experience in requirements and test cases definition for safety critical Chassis Systems (DOORS, Polarion or similar)
    • Knowledge of Braking, Steering, and/or Suspension components and features
    • Understanding of Vehicle Dynamics, ADAS systems, and Powertrain
    • System validation and HIL testing
    • Knowledge of Diagnostic DTC's and service routines
    • Experience of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Failure Mode Analysis
    • Experience with CAN-based tools for testing, data logging, feature calibration and issue investigation
    • Experience in architecture definition and system integration for automotive application
    • Experience in liaising with suppliers for SW development and issue resolution
    • Calibration of Chassis systems (Stability Control, Steering, Braking or Suspension / Damping)
    • Understanding of automotive homologation and regulatory requirements and testing for Chassis systems
    • Familiarity with MS Office suite
