RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze Biw measurement Reports
• Analyze Biw single part measurement reports
• Analyze DCS reports and Variation analysis data and contributors
• Develop concepts to improve Biw tooling and Fixture/Gages
• Initiate / manage datum changes concept, in-house as well as external suppliers
• Confirm stamping/assembly parts regarding dimensional accuracy
• Confirm single part Checking fixture and tooling coordination with released drawing
• Confirm coordination between assembly tooling and inspection method
• Consult with part supplier and internal SQE, regarding dies and assembly tooling optimization

COMPETENCIES

• Being able to read and write dimensional technical drawings in respect to both ASME and ISO standard
• Translate part requirements and gaging method to technical drawing
• Train and support Engineering in 2D drawing creation according to ASME standard
• Support SQE in supplier visit and tolerance negotiation
• Working well in cross-functional groups under pressure to develop optimal solutions for the vehicle
• Excellent communication skills

EXPERIENCE

• Associates Degree with 10+ years industry experience
• Minimum 3 years fixture Design / Development
• Experience in Product lifecycle management
• Experience in surface modelling and assembly design
• CAD Capability: Minimum 10+ years Catia V5 /V6 experience
