About the Role:

Established Primary Care Practice | Over 25 Years of Service

We are a well-established primary care practice in Bel Air, Maryland with more than 25 years of experience providing quality, compassionate, patient-centered care to our community. We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team

Responsibilities:

Assist physician with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments

Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and chief complaints accurately in EHR/EMR systems

Prepare and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms between patient visits

Administer injections, draw blood, and perform basic laboratory procedures

Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and coordinate referrals

Handle prescription refill requests and prior authorizations under physician direction

Communicate with patients regarding test results, follow-up care, and instructions

Requirements:

Active CMA certification (AAMA, AMT, NHA, or equivalent) required

High school diploma or GED; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program

Experience with electronic health records (EHR/EMR) systems preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy outpatient setting

CPR/BLS certification preferred
