CHEVO is hiring an experienced Information Technology Program Support Specialist to join our expanding firm. This position provides the opportunity for significant client interaction by learning the client’s business  and to become a trusted advisor.  Ideal candidates will demonstrate versatility in understanding and performing work related to Federal Government IT Program Management Support. This position is located in Arlington, VA and is metro accessible.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Help maintain a disciplined acquisition and program management approach in compliance with the DHS Acquisition Lifecycle Framework (ALF) policies and directives
• Assist in the development and review of key acquisition program documents
• Provide weekly updates on percent complete for each document and coordinate with program scheduler to update the Integrated Master Schedule
• Assist in scheduling and preparing for Acquisition Decision Events and Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) Milestone reviews.
• Support entry of program data into the following systems Next Generation Periodic Reporting System (nPRS), monthly Investment Management System (IMS), Quarterly Program Assessment Report (QPAR), Comprehensive Acquisition Status Report
• Support preparation of briefings, PowerPoint presentations, meeting minutes, reports and other materials

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher (no substitutions)
• 5+ years of prior federal government experience providing program management oversight for Federal IT programs
• Previous experience providing program management support for DHS IT implementation programs, preferably using the Agile methodology
• Strong knowledge of the DHS ALF, SELC, and MD-102

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience with configuring and maintaining SharePoint
