Provide courteous and prompt technical service to City Bean's valued customers for their coffee, tea, and espresso equipment. Work will be performed in the field, on the phone, at City Bean's shop, and on-call. Job responsibilities include:

• Espresso Equipment Installation and Repair - multiple manufacturers
• Coffee Equipment Installation and Repair - multiple manufacturers
• Water System Installation and Maintenance (training provided, if necessary)
• Coffee and Espresso Calibration Service
• Rebuild and Refurbish Equipment
• Technical Coordination with Equipment Vendors
• Accurate Record Keeping
• Shop Organization and Maintenance
• Coffee Roaster Repair and Maintenance
• Facilities Upkeep

Additional information

This is a 15-20 hour/week position, with possibility of full time, and will be fairly compensated with respect to experience. City Bean offers vacation, health, profit sharing, and a sustainable culture of respect.  Van is provided.  Flex schedule.  Training provided.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED
• Skills in the areas of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical creativity
• Understanding the relationship between machine and finished product
• Passion for coffee and espresso
• Please be independent, resourceful, respectful, and dependable
• Clean driving record
• Strong oral, written, and communication skills
• Ability to learn when trained
