IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

The IT Support Specialist is the perfect opportunity for someone who loves helping people and has strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills. This is perfect for someone who is looking to be part of a small and growing team. In this position, you will work as part of the commercretools operations team, in our Durham, NC location on the American Tobacco Campus. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist and support team members with equipment and computer software questions 
• Remote and onsite troubleshoot desktop application errors and provide resolution
• Support database directories and updates when necessary
• Install, assemble and configure software, computers, monitors, minor network infrastructure and peripherals such as printers, copiers, and other related hardware.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in a related field or equivalent.
• 2+ years related experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency in G Suite applications.
• Must possess a working knowledge of and direct experience with local area network design, management, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with troubleshooting both PC's and Mac's 
• A self-sufficient, go-getter with strong attention to detail
• Must be able to prioritize tasks/goals in a challenging, fast-paced environment
• Experience in a start-up tech environment preferred
• Positive attitude/adaptability, contribute to our people-first mentality 
• Problem solver while working under pressure
• Experience working with a remote team
