About the Role:

Fatima's Grill is looking for a passionate and skilled Cook to join our kitchen team in Los Angeles, CA! If you love crafting delicious halal dishes and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, this is the perfect opportunity to bring your culinary talents to a beloved local grill.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook halal menu items to order with consistency and quality

Follow halal food preparation standards and guidelines at all times

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift

Monitor food inventory and assist with stocking and storage

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service

Adhere to food safety regulations and proper handling procedures

Assist with prep work including chopping, marinating, and seasoning

Requirements:

Prior experience as a cook, line cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred

Knowledge of halal dietary laws and food preparation standards is a plus

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Food Handler's Card or ServSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
