About the Role:

Fork & Knife LLC is looking for an energetic and friendly Counter Server to join our team in Flemington, NJ! If you love great food, fast-paced environments, and making customers smile, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and take food and beverage orders at the counter

Accurately process orders using a POS system and handle cash and card transactions

Prepare and assemble menu items quickly and to quality standards

Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked counter and service area

Answer customer questions about the menu, ingredients, and daily specials

Restock supplies, condiments, and packaging materials as needed

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health code guidelines

Requirements:

Prior experience in food service, counter service, or a customer-facing role preferred

Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively

Basic math skills and comfort handling cash transactions

Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one a plus
