    Job Description

    ABOUT US: We are an eCommerce marketing and fulfillment company selling consumer packaged goods on online channels like Amazon, Walmart, Target, Groupon, eBay and more. We have two on-site departments: The Office (marketing, account management, finance, customer service) and Operations in the Warehouse(Fulfillment - Packing, Shipping, Inventory.)

    ABOUT YOU: In a growing and ever changing industry, we are looking for an adaptable team player, who thrives in an innovative and autonomous role, that is timely, decisive and a great communicator. The HR Assistant/Generalist will work in partnership with the HR director, CEO and the VP of Warehouse Operations to develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures, focus on staffing, talent acquisition, employment onboarding and processing, training, records management, employee relations, compliance, compensation and benefits and other administrative duties.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Fill staff vacancies as requested by management

    • Be a liaison between management and applicants through the hiring process (zoom meetings, setting up interviews)

    • Onboarding orientation and paperwork for employment verification and new hires

    • Conduct exit interviews and discharge paperwork

    • Create and schedule company events (holiday parties, luncheons)

    • Resolve employee disputes (Employee to employee or employees to management)

    • Assist employees with any questions or concerns regarding PTO, payroll, benefits

    • Host and present training session for employee development, safety procedures and policy disbursement

    • Advise and continuously inform employees on policy changes

    • Maintain confidential employee personnel file

    • Ensure compliance with labor regulations

    • Administer disciplinary procedures

    • Interpret labor contracts to new hires

    • Track timesheets for employees on a weekly basis

    • Prepares performance review information for management and notify managers/supervisors when reviews are due.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field is preferred.

    • At least 1-2 years of experience in an HR role

    • MUST BE FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH

    PAY: $40K DEPENDING ON QUALIFICATIONS.
