Caregiver Needed I am looking for female caregivers to cover 3 shifts throughout the day: 10-11am, 4pm to 5pm or 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm, and 8:00-9:30 pm. Shifts can be split among 3-4 other caregivers, if needed, to accommodate your class/work schedules. I will pay $25 per hour. I need diaper change, household tasks, getting ready for bed at night, etc. I need all three shifts every Saturday and afternoon and night shifts every Sunday. I also need backup for all 3 shifts during the week, and I need a shower every Wednesday or Thursday. That can be morning or afternoon shift and takes about 2 hrs. Also need shower every Sunday morning at 1l0 I need to find people who can work during the school year, and the quarter and summer breaks. I need someone who can start right away. I am a 78j year old woman, have ALS, and am in a wheelchair fulltime. I live at University Retirement Community at 1515 Shasta Drive, Davis,CA.. I am a retired Davis teacher & I was on the City Council from 1984-88. I am friendly and don't complain or criticize. Many of my caregivers end up becoming friends. Students who plan to work in nursing, or in other helping professions have found this kind of experience helpful on their resumes when applying to graduate programs.
