DELMARVA DENTAL SERVICES PA is looking for a motivated and friendly Dental Business Assistant to join our growing team in Salisbury, MD! Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients, ensuring a warm and professional front desk experience
Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental practice management software
Process patient billing, insurance claims, and handle insurance verification
Collect and post payments, manage accounts receivable, and handle financial arrangements
Answer multi-line phones, respond to patient inquiries, and manage correspondence
Maintain and update accurate patient records and treatment documentation
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow throughout the day
Requirements:
Prior experience in a dental or medical office front desk or administrative role preferred
Familiarity with dental insurance billing, coding, and claims processing
Proficiency with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a busy office environment
Detail-oriented with accurate data entry and record-keeping abilities
High school diploma or equivalent required; dental assisting or healthcare administration coursework a plus
