    Job Description

    The Diversity Campus Recruitment Intern is a member of the dentsu Talent Acquisition team, specifically within our Campus Recruitment function. As a Diversity Campus Recruitment Intern, you will play a key role in the success of our strategy to source, attract and recruit talent from campus with a keen focus on how we are reaching diverse and underrepresented students. You will ensure a fair and equitable recruitment process; personify and promote the dentsu brand and our employer value proposition to prospective candidates; and help the team build and nurture funnels of diverse top talent. You will contribute your unique perspectives and ideas while learning recruitment processes, workflows and best practices. You will report to the Senior Campus Recruitment Lead and work closely alongside Senior Recruiters and Managers.

    Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

    • Learn the ins-and-outs of full-cycle recruiting and candidate management including sourcing, screening, and interviewing and gain experience working with hiring managers and interview teams to understand the role requirements and facilitate hiring decisions
    • Assist with developing action plans to build recruitment funnels from HBCUs and underrepresented students at PWIs and other sources of diverse talent
    • Begin to plan our Fall 2021 campus recruitment event schedule centered on connecting us with underrepresented and diverse student talent
    • Initiate a content marketing plan, managed through Smart CRM, to nurture candidates in our Talent Community
    • Propose recommendations to incorporate DEI and culture content on Careers and About Us pages and in campus recruitment collateral (photos, description of DEI efforts, ways our people get involved and make a difference inside and outside of work)
    • Provide feedback on the dentsu internship experience and offer ways to build diversity into the Internship Program that provides all Interns an opportunity to actively participate in DEI
    • Write intern and entry-level job descriptions and promotional materials for campus recruitment and audit for biased language
    • Speak up when finding processes, policies or practices that are hindering our success or creating barriers of entry for diverse talent or anytime you have ideas or questions
    • Support vital day-to-day administrative duties for the campus recruiting program including maintaining updated job descriptions and postings on various platforms, maintaining up-to-date and detailed candidate management and jobs reports, and ensuring exceptional hiring manager and candidate experience
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Rising college Junior, Senior or recent graduate OR relevant experience
    • Passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion
    • Interest in HR, Recruitment, Talent Development or Corporate Social Responsibility
    • Creative skills in writing, design, or PowerPoint presentations are a plus
    • Must be action- and goal-oriented with good time management and prioritization skills
    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with quickly changing priorities and objectives

    Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position.
