    Job Description

    The Benefits Specialist is responsible for the daily operations and compliance of the US benefit programs including health, welfare and retirement. You will work with the benefits team and external vendors to ensure efficiency and administration of all programs, activities and tasks.

    Responsibilities:

    Assist Benefits Team with the administration of health and welfare and retirement programs to ensure efficiency and compliance. This includes:

    • Be the daily contact for third-party benefit vendors
    • Process funding of 401(k) Plan and Health Savings Accounts
    • Process benefit updates for payroll including 401(k) changes and employee deduction changes for each pay period
    • Support program compliance for 401(k), Health and Welfare Plans, and state and local regulatory filings
    • Administer all aspects of Leave of Absence and non-leave accommodation process including reporting to HR Partners and coordination of paid and unpaid time off with payroll
    • Assist with monthly benefits billing process, including invoice and claims processing and inter-company chargebacks
    • Assist with the Annual Open Enrollment including requirements review, system testing and communication updates
    • Conduct routine and ad hoc audits of employee eligibility ensuring that eligibility and enrollment is correct across both internal and external systems
    • Work with vendor partners, finance, and payroll staff to reconcile ongoing, mid-year, and year-end plan financials, plan contributions, and related funding issues
    • Conduct new hire benefit orientation
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of experience in a similar position
    • A bachelor's degree or equivalent
    • Experience with a benefits administration system, HRIS or payroll
    • Knowledge of all leave of absence regulations including FMLA and ADA
    • MS Office skills, including PowerPoint and Excel (VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, etc.)

    Additional Information

    The anticipated salary range for this position is $47,920-69,300. Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
