    Job Description

    The Associate is a critical part of the National Video Investment team. It is a position that is highly supervised by a Senior Associate.  The Associate’s role is to help maintain the client’s schedules through scheduling, billing, and posting.  The position is an entry level position and represents the start of a media career. Associates are given a tremendous amount of access to their mangers, the opportunity to learn on the job, and will go through a media training program 

     

    Investment and Execution: 

    • Interface and assist Senior Associates with day to day workloads 
    • Input buys into DDS  
    • Responsible for speaking with networks regarding client's scheduling  
    • Resolve billing discrepancies 
    • Prepare reports for clients

     

    Client & Internal Relationships: 

    • Support Associates in preparing and delivering work to clients, colleagues within dentsu 
    • Assist Associates in maintaining client budget levels 
    • Assist Associates in communicating with billing department and planning teams 
    • Attend status meetings when appropriate 
    • Possess mature and professional business acumen in personal and written communications 
    • Engage with all work-related contacts in a professional & respectful manner

     

    Strategic Thinking & Leadership: 

    • Understand client schedules and, as appropriate, recommend better scheduled buys or brand  
    • As appropriate, recommend improvements to internal workflow to improve efficiency 
    • Keep current with market research (industry periodicals, email newsletters, websites) 
    • Demonstrate active listening skills and ability to apply learnings over time 
    • Take clear ownership of assigned tasks

     

    Communication Skills: 

    • Express oneself clearly and concisely in oral communications 
    • Write in a clear, compelling and concise manner 
    • Organize ideas and information logically and sequentially

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree 
    • 0-2 years industry experience 
    • Strong math and analytical skills 
    • Understanding of, and a desire to learn more about Media & Video Investment 
    • Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)   
    • Ability to learn server-based software and tools

    THE ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE FOR THIS POSITION IS $40,000 - $45,000. SALARY IS BASED ON A RANGE OF FACTORS THAT INCLUDE RELEVANT EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, OTHER JOB-RELATED QUALIFICATIONS, AND GEOGRAPHY.  A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
