About the Role:

Ivywood Academy in Snellville, GA is looking for a passionate and driven Director to lead our team and inspire excellence every day. Responsibilities:

Oversee daily academy operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment

Lead, mentor, and support faculty and staff to drive professional growth and performance

Develop and implement curriculum standards, policies, and educational programs

Build and maintain strong relationships with families, students, and the local community

Manage budgeting, staffing, and administrative functions of the academy

Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and accreditation standards

Monitor student progress and implement strategies to support academic and developmental success

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, or related field (Master's preferred)

Prior experience in a Director, Assistant Director, or school leadership role

Knowledge of Georgia childcare licensing regulations and educational compliance standards

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to build a positive school culture and foster team collaboration

Experience with budget management and administrative operations

Passionate, student-centered mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
